WWH TPB...Holy SHIT!

A few weeks ago, I made a Red Hulk using some fodder parts as a gift for my older brother who is a fan of the current Hulk series. Much to my joy, he actually liked it and showed it to the grandparents who were also impressed.

Last week, he came home for a vist and to pick up some stuff that he left at Granpma and Grandpa's house. During that space of time, he presented me with the World War Hulk TPB. I finished it in about an hour and was amazed by the quality of the story and still in awe of John Romita, Jr. stupendous artwork.

If you have not read this, pick it up now!

Obama/Hillary ticket?

I typically don't get too political as the whole landscape of it makes my brain hurt, but I just have to voice my thoughts. Now that Obama is the Democratic canadite for President, Hillary would probably be groping for the Vice-Presidential position with him. She's stubborn, almost insanly so, and this will not stop her from trying to get back into the White House.

Some conspiracy theorist's say that Clinton may try to off Obama if he gets in the White House if she is the Vice-Pres because of her previous comments regarding Robbert Kennedy. The risk of assassiantion would be high for Obama because of the heavy level of anxioty because of his race, and accuastions that he is in fact a Muslim something that, even if it were true, should not be important in this day and age. Either way, I'm most likely going to jab penciles into my eyes after this whole bloody race is over with anyway.

Last weekend, after a trip to Wal*Mart, I picked up one of the new Incredible Hulk movie action figures. The scale is not something to write home about. The Hulk's and Abomination won't be able to stand proudly with Marvel Legend and DCSH/DCUC figures. Though the body sculpt is nice, I hate the head. I'm going to pick up a Mega-Clap Hulk and preform a head-swap.

Might as well put out a new web comic. Jack is the story of the Grim Reaper, Jack, condemed to Hell for his sins in life and has become the embodiment of the Sin of Wrath. His greatest punishment is to never be able to remember his previous life.

The story is thoroughly dark, bloody, violent and gruesome, but holds itself to a high standered of intelligence and wittyness that would fit in most well with a fine novel. Jack can be found at http://www.pholph.com. WARNING! Jack is not Safe For Work or for Children in any way!

Does anyone actualy read this?

Sorry I've not posted in a while but, eh, what can you do? I wonder if anyone actually reads this thing? If you would, just post a comment our something to reassure myself I'm not just typing to thin air here.

Another webcomic I'd like to throw out is Kevin and Kell. K&K is one of the oldest, still running webcomics. Begun in 1997, K&K features the daily lives of the Dewclaw family, Kevin Dewcalw, Kell Dewclaw, Rudy Dewclaw, Lindsfarne Dewclaw, and Connie Dewclaw. The stories are often simple, humors and carry a lesson on politics and most commonly, the importance of family and friends, but will steer into the utter bizzare and strange. Other than it being about a six foot rabbit married to a wolf and the baby having the body of a bunny but the appatite of a wolf! Or perhaps the origin of that world itself?

The comic flows in relitive realtime, allowing the characters to age, graduate school, get engaged and married, though it moves much slower than the real world given its nature or daily comic strips.

Probably Not The Smartest Thing To Do On MLK Day

For those of you that don't watch the News, the canadates for presidency recently gave speaches on Martain Luthor King Jr. on Monday. Each told of their feelings and what King meant to them. Only McCain gave the speech at the actual site of King's assasination. I have to say, I doubt that King woudl support John McCain, but would respect him for his trails in a North Vietnam prisoner camp.

I so not agree with McCain, more of an Obama man myself, but I give him props for giving the speech at the Motel. But I detract points for having a black guy hold his umbrella as he gave the speech. Good bye any chance he had for election.

The new webcomic is Dandy and Company. The strip is a heart warming tail of a boy and his evil, evil dog, Dandy who throws no end of pranks and practical jokes toward Bernard, or Beanieboy as he calls him, and the other members of the cast.

The cast his large and colorful, each character having a unique personality and motivation. The storylines tend to alternate between prank wars, love and hate between the characters, and galaxy and time spaning epics. I'm not shitting you here folks.

Webcomic of the week and other things

For the first webcomic, I'd like to throw out one of my personal favorites, Ozy and Millie. The story follows the day to day lives of Ozymandias Llewellyn and Millicent Mudd, two young foxes, as they deal with the basic struggles of youth and the anurisim inducing world of politics and economics.

Briliantly drawn and written by D.C. Simpson, Ozy and Millie provides a heart warming, laugh inducing, and thought provoking webcomic that truly captures the hearts and minds of all that read it.

Ozy and Millie can be found on http://www.ozyandmillie.org/ Enjoy!

That's pretty much all I've got to say for today.

First post!

I finally decided to jump on the old Blog band waggon. The goal of this blog is basically to spout off about the things I like, hate, events of my life, and throw a few kickass webcomics your way. Hopefully I'll have a good level of readership.

To kick things off I'd like to direct you guys to a nice, safe zone for me. I write fanfictions, mainly as a way to build up my skill before becoming a professional author. I have several published on this website: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1012289/King_gunman

I'd like for you guys to check them out a leave a review if you would.

Well, seeing how it's late as I write this and am fairly tired, I'll just post this and be done with it. See you guys later!
